Important Update from our Twitter! Wear your Jersey tomorrow!
We were extremely fortunate to have knowledge keeper, Darcy Turning Robe visit our students today. Darcy shared more about where he is from and the importance of the elk to the blackfoot people. Darcy played his drum for us. Darcy explained that not all students get the opportunity to see a drum and even play it. He had to ask his Elders if he could bring it to the school!

Thank you Darcy for sharing your knowledge with our school community, for spending the last two days in our school, for sharing your gifts, and for leading us further on our journey to develop our Indigenous ways of knowing.
Students and their families are also invited to the CBE annual pow wow, host drum this year will be Darcy and his drumming family. The event takes place on May 17, more information to follow.
