Yesterday we worked on calculating how many medals the Canadian Olympic Team had one in total. We know that we won 11 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. We used our knowledge of doubles to help us add the numbers together. Here are two ways we demonstrated this very efficient strategy. Please ask your child to explain the pictures below.
