Coming home today are field trip forms for our trip to Fort Calgary!

A special thank you to Mrs. Schrattner and her students for being so flexible with going on two different days! We are expected to leave the school by 8:30 by bus and return back to the school around 2:20pm.  

Please review the forms coming home and include any medical information we should know. Please note, there are two places that require a signature.  

Closer to the date, we will include a blog post about what the children should bring. This information is also on the back of the letter. Just a reminder, If you have not paid the activity fee, please do so on your my cbe account.  

If you still wish to volunteer, and have completed your security clearance through the school, please contact your child's teacher at your earliest convenience.

In preparation for our field trip, we have been learning more about the prairies in the past. Today we learned about settlers and how people came from other parts of the world to Canada.

We also watched a video called Homesteading on the Prairies

While watching, please discuss some of the images and compare them to our lives today - how are they different? how are they the same?
