Halloween
Tomorrow students will have a chance to share their costumes(in the afternoon) and partake in some halloween themed learning activities.

Please send with your child:
1. A halloween costume they can change into for the afternoon (please ensure this is safe for them to have at school i.e. no weapons)
2. A special snack they can eat in the afternoon

Today we examined a collection of pictures from the Prairies. We looked at the pictures, made some observations and gathered our wonders. With your child, please share and discuss the pictures below.

Please ask your child:

What do you see?
What do you think?
What do you wonder?

What animals could live here?
What could people do here?
What could kids do here?

Message from School Council...

1. Please help us by spreading the word about this event with your family, friends and connections. The more the merrier!!!

Ken Taylor Christmas Market and Family Festival
Saturday, November 18
10am-3pm
Kenneth D Taylor School

2. Similar to last year, we are holding a raffle the day of the market. So far we have a few wonderful prizes compliments of local businesses, however, we are still looking for a larger item such as hockey tickets. If you know of anyone generous and able to help out in this way please have them contact market.kennethdtaylor@gmail.com right away.

Last year's market was a great success and we know this year will be even better!

To the Kenneth D. Taylor School Community,

Thank you very much for your wonderful donation to Jacket Racket!  Many children and their families will benefit immediately from nice, warm winter clothing.
And thank you to Kimberly who so kindly organized your coat drive.

Here are the donations at Kingsland School, coming in and then going out for delivery!
